At Traditions by Pooja Backliwal (Kiyvi Luxury Private Limited), every jewelry creation is handcrafted specifically for the individual client through a personalized, bespoke, and made-to-order process.

Due to the exclusive nature of our work, we maintain a strict no return and no refund policy.

By placing an order, approving a design, making a payment, or confirming production, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

No Returns

We do not accept returns on:

  • bespoke jewelry
  • custom-made jewelry
  • made-to-order pieces
  • engagement rings
  • bridal jewelry
  • personalized jewelry
  • resized items
  • engraved items
  • specially sourced gemstones or diamonds
  • altered products

Each creation is produced specifically for the client and therefore cannot be restocked, exchanged, or resold.

No Refunds

All payments made towards:

  • consultations
  • booking amounts
  • advance payments
  • custom orders
  • bespoke creations
  • gemstone sourcing
  • diamond sourcing
  • CAD development
  • jewelry manufacturing
  • production

are strictly non-refundable.

This applies to both partial and full payments.

Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before production begins.

Once:

  • design approval
  • CAD approval
  • gemstone confirmation
  • production commencement

has taken place, cancellations are not permitted.

If a cancellation request is approved before production:

  • consultation charges remain non-refundable
  • sourcing, design, or administrative costs already incurred may be deducted

any applicable refund shall be at our sole discretion

Order Approval & Production

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving:

  • CAD renders
  • sketches
  • dimensions
  • ring sizes
  • gemstone selections
  • diamond specifications
  • metal color
  • product details
  • final design approvals

before production begins.

Once production has commenced:

  • cancellations may not be possible
  • design changes may not be possible
  • refunds will not be applicable

Minor variations may naturally occur in handcrafted jewelry and are not considered defects.

Natural Characteristics

Natural diamonds, gemstones, pearls, emeralds, and colored stones may contain:

  • inclusions
  • internal patterns
  • color variations
  • natural growth characteristics

These are natural features and are not considered flaws or defects.

Slight variations in:

  • handcrafted finishing
  • stone placement
  • dimensions
  • metal tone
  • gemstone appearance

may occur due to the handmade nature of jewelry production and are considered industry standard.

Certification & Visual Appearance

Diamond and gemstone grading may vary slightly between laboratories and visual perception.

At Traditions, we additionally evaluate:

  • brilliance
  • transparency
  • proportions
  • ratios
  • light performance
  • polish
  • symmetry
  • fluorescence
  • BGM characteristics
  • overall visual beauty

Digital renders, CAD previews, photographs, and screen displays may appear slightly different from the final handcrafted jewelry due to:

  • lighting
  • scaling
  • rendering
  • photography
  • screen calibration
  • natural gemstone variations

Such differences shall not be considered defects.

If Specifications Do Not Match

In the rare event that the delivered jewelry contains a material and substantial deviation from the written specifications approved by the client, the concern must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery along with supporting evidence.

We reserve the right to inspect and verify the concern internally.

If a genuine discrepancy is identified, we may, at our sole discretion:

  • repair the jewelry
  • correct the specifications
  • replace certain components
  • adjust the piece
  • remake the jewelry where reasonably required
  • provide another suitable remedy

Minor variations falling within normal handmade jewelry tolerances shall not be considered specification mismatches.

Refunds will not automatically apply.

Shipping & Delivery Claims

Clients must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.

For any claims relating to:

  • shipping damage
  • tampering
  • missing contents
  • incorrect items
  • packaging concerns

the client must record a clear, continuous, and completely unedited video while opening the package from the very beginning.

The video must clearly show:

  • sealed outer packaging
  • shipping label
  • package condition
  • complete opening process
  • jewelry contents inside

Claims submitted without a complete unedited package opening video may not be accepted.

If a package appears visibly damaged:

  • notify us immediately
  • retain all original packaging
  • share photographs and videos where applicable

Shipping-related claims may be subject to internal review and courier investigation.

Risk and responsibility for the shipment pass to the client upon successful delivery to the shipping address provided.

International Orders

Clients are responsible for:

  • customs duties
  • import taxes
  • VAT
  • local clearance fees
  • country-specific import regulations

We are not responsible for customs delays, inspections, or shipment holds caused by local authorities.

Jewelry Care Responsibility

Jewelry damage resulting from:

  • accidental impact
  • improper handling
  • misuse
  • chemical exposure
  • improper storage
  • unauthorized repairs
  • negligence
  • improper cleaning methods
  • normal wear and tear

is not eligible for return, refund, or replacement.

Regular inspection and professional maintenance are strongly recommended.

Repair & Maintenance Support

Where possible, we may assist clients with:

  • cleaning
  • polishing
  • resizing
  • tightening stones
  • restoration
  • maintenance services

Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the work required.

Payments & Chargebacks

By completing a purchase, the client agrees to these policies and acknowledges the bespoke nature of the jewelry.

Unauthorized or unjustified chargebacks, reversals, or payment disputes relating to approved bespoke orders may be formally contested along with supporting documentation including:

  • approvals
  • invoices
  • communication records
  • CAD confirmations

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Traditions by Pooja Backliwal shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages
  • consequential losses
  • emotional distress
  • incidental damages
  • loss of opportunity
  • third-party losses

Our total liability, where applicable, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific jewelry piece in question.

Force Majeure

We shall not be held responsible for delays or inability to fulfill obligations arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters
  • pandemics
  • government restrictions
  • strikes
  • supplier delays
  • transportation disruptions
  • labor shortages
  • raw material shortages
  • customs delays

The latest version published on our website shall apply.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy and all transactions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising in relation to purchases, services, or website usage shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
